COFFEE BAR COURSE:
THE BARISTA COFFEE ROASTER
The training discussions will involve analysing the merits and demerits of different types of raw coffee, including a live coffee roasting experience. We will examine the approach (theoretical and practical) to espresso coffee extraction using a professional machine and the relevant adjustments of the grinder-dosing function. Then we will move on to tastings of under and over-extracted coffees including analysis and comparison of the appearance and flavour of single-origin and Arabica and Robusta blends. Let the journey begin towards perfect espresso according to SCA parameters.
